1961

SANOVO TECHNOLOGY & RAME-HART is founded

SANOVO TECHNOLOGY, originally known as SANOVO ENGINEERING A/S, was founded by Lactosan and the Danish Toeraeg Factory. The main target was production and trade in foodstuffs. Later on, the company also decided to enter into the production of foodstuffs machinery. The daily administration of SANOVO Levnedsmidler took place at Lactosan’s property in Havnegade – Odense, Denmark. The production of machinery, however, took place at the property in Nørrebro 56 – also in Odense, Denmark.

RAME-HART
Founded by Ralph Nussbaum, George Meyer and John Hertz, hence the name RAME-HART Inc. The company started off as a small machines shop providing machine shop services. After a few years, the company started working for large well-known companies like AT& T, Parke-Davis, Avon and IBM providing them with custom, one of a kind machines, change parts and repair services.

1956

STAALKAT is founded

Mr D van Katwijk, founder of Van Katwijk’s Industrial, bought the company 'Libra' in Hummelo, in the east of Holland, a producer of machinery for the textile industry, and moved it to Aalten. His idea was to produce egg-grading machines besides the existing product range. The company was named STAALKAT.

The first egg grading machines that came out of production were two-, three- and four-row grading machines in wooden frames. Of course, these machines were without automatic loaders, let alone automatic packers. Weighing was done by means of the scale principle, which has proven its functioning for more than 60 years now.
