With a need for higher production capacity to accommodate the increasing demand, Les OEufs Geslin decided to invest in a new breaking and separation line. With no immediate preference for a equipment supplier, all possibilities had to be tested to find the most suitable production line. The following basic criteria were decisive for choosing the equipment:

At the same time, the amount of whole egg produced is very low and bears no comparison to the old equipment. With the significant improvement of the separation rate, we were forced to adjust our production organisation in terms of both methods and planning.

The daily production is running very smoothly and with the CIP installed, the washing time has been reduced considerably. At the same time, surface bacteriological checks on cups prove that the cleaning is efficient.

Naturally, the price of the equipment was also a determining factor in the decision-making process. SANOVO OptiLine was not the choice of lowest cost, but considering the increased capacity and improved separation rates, combined with fewer operators needed, we are extremely satisfied with the investment.
